OpenAI's latest image generation model—along with similar video synthesis tools from competitors—enables threat actors to bypass traditional verification mechanisms that have protected high-value targets for decades. The attack surface has fundamentally expanded because the barrier to entry is no longer technical expertise but rather access to publicly available training data and computational resources.
